Well, I thought his intention was to store Clark in pieces, so not so worse for now...

Also, Clark is lucky MM does not use the same pressure points as Hokuto no Ken ;)

Well at least he used a fridge big enough to not kill him putting him in it... Of course there the limited air but that doesn't look like the one of the infamous old fridges that would lock that used to kill children and should have killed Indiana jones in crystal skull...

And it's not just death Clark needs to worry about. Before death, lack of oxygen would cause permanent brain damage.
