Here's strip 65 of Dude in Distress, and Clark gets a rather nice view of the Con'qorian Towers. These technological marvels will be discussed a bit soon (and have been discussed a bit on the Patreon site already). And in case you're wondering--yes, they're alien architecture from Femme's homeworld.

Now, how did they get a planning permit for alien buildings? xD

That will actually be touched on in a few strips.

A rooftop, quite expected. Especially since this view - with Femme & Clark in it - has been seen before (if I'm not mistaken).

About that alien architecture though... anyone else think those buildings look quite reminiscent of tampons? I wonder how that happened, most architecture is very deliberately designed the way it is. It does provide for quite a few extra window offices per total, some larger spaces with extremely good views, all without the "bad" corners being all that bad.

The buildings also look like they might be a really big multistage rocket in disguise... but I'm quite unsure on whether a rocket at that scale would make any sense. I always expected interstellar travel to be based on some completely different principle, but for a hypothetical species with just one order of magnitude greater lifespans I guess high quality rockets would work well.

Yep. View was seen on cover of this episode. No rocket/flight capabilities, but there is a reason there's a resemblance to Femme's ship.

The reason "built by the same people" is just not valid given how human these people appear and the diversity of human architecture. But I also don't expect you to write something that boring. "Drawn up by the same architect" comes closer, but still does not cut it, unless said architect was either lazy or commisioned to do things on a theme. That last one, or some weird functional reason, now that can be very interesting!

As you'll find out, the towers aren't exactly built.

Kind of hard not to be impressed by such a Wizard of Oz-type view. But next week's strip is titled "Even Better View," so the views aren't done impressing yet.

Ohhh my, I'm getting kinky thoughts about an "even better view" - ahem, sorry...
